Gallery in the Garden: Cityscape / Landscape 2 Acrylic paintings by Neil Whitworth and Pam Pols Sherway Gardens until September 17, 2011

Sherway Gardens introduces Gallery in the Garden: Cityscape/Landscape 2, an exhibit that displays two artists' bold, colourful and exhuberant landscapes and cityscapes. Neil Whitworth’s sleek and styled canvases contrast and complement the thick and textured surfaces created by Pam Pols. Created in acrylic paint on canvas or wood, they demonstrate the diverse ways in which this media can be used. The exhibit is on display until Saturday, September 17 in the corridor at door 3.

Etobicoke artist Neil Whitworth was born in Montreal and he attended the Montreal Museum of Fine Art and other private art schools in the area. Neil’s paintings are found in private collections in Canada, USA and Great Britain and in corporate collections including Honeywell and Inco. Neil is a member of The Etobicoke Art Group, Neilson Park Creative Centre and an elected member since 1998 of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (CSPWC) and The Etobicoke Art Group.
