Your Little Secret
Secret's Silky line

It's what's on the inside that counts. And in this case, it's a pair of thigh-highs from Secret's Silky line. Worn under a business suit or paired with an elegant dress, these luxurious, silky sheers are the perfect way to add a hint of sexiness to an outfit without feeling like you're on full display. The feminine lace leg band is a seductive alternative for those who find waist bands on traditional pantyhose too constricting.

Secret's Silky line also features knee highs, 20-denier pantyhose with light and medium tummy control as well as a 20-denier sheer that features a feminine lace high-cut panty. The line retails for $5.95 to $9.50 and is available at major department stores nation-wide or visit the new online store at www.secretlegwear.com.

Sheer Beauty
Secret Au Naturel

Sheers might be an everyday wardrobe staple but that doesn’t mean they should be ranked as dull. From curve-conscious fashions to office-friendly attire, Secret’s extensive collections of sheers add a dash of polished femininity to any look.

Hours at the gym have given you glamorous gams, but baring them at the office is certainly risky business. Donning a pair of Secret's Au Naturel sheers is the perfect compromise. The ultra-sheer 10-denier pantyhose emphasizes a beautiful leg while evening out skin tone and hiding minor imperfections.

Featuring a light control panty, these sheers are perfectly suited to everything from pencil skirts to thigh-grazing minis. Secret's Au Naturel line also features thigh-highs and knee-highs as well as 10 and 15 denier options.

The line retails from $6.75 to $9.95 and is

TOMORROW! TENTH ANNUAL GARDEN ART
SILENT AUCTION WITH GUEST ARTISTS

Kimberley Seldon enjoys an international reputation as a designer, journalist, keynote speaker and broadcast personality. Kimberley Seldon has designed The Sassy Seat with paint finish by Beth Halstead for the Garden Art Silent Auction. Influenced and inspired by her travels, Beth Halstead has been adding her decorative paint artistry to interior and exterior spaces for more than 20 years. Beth has found her degree in psychology and her interior design studies to be a dynamic duo when assisting clients in transforming their environments. Beth has appeared on CityLine, Design for Living and This Small Space; while the work of Halstead & Company Ltd. has been featured in several design publications. Who says contemporary means minimal? The Sassy Seat is for the true maximalist. An ideal perch for sipping jolted pink lemonade or a classic cosmopolitan.

Glen Peloso, Principal Designer of Glen Peloso Interiors, Inc., has been designing spaces for commercial, corporate, and residential clients for fifteen years. Glen Peloso is known from hosting such television design shows as Restaurant Makeover and Take This House & Sell It. Glen is a designer who is committed to creating spaces that are not only functional but adapt to your way of living. By combining client's need's with current trends, classic pieces, and green initiatives, Glen creates environments for clients that are true expressions of who they are, and living spaces that reflect their lifestyles!

For the Garden Art Silent Auction, Glen designed a one-of-a-kind chair entitled The “ME” Skoka which was inspired by the Muskoka chairs he had on his front porch while growing up. To add comfort without using a cushion that would hide the lines of the chair, Glen used individually cushioned panels made from a combination of checkered, striped and floral patterned fabric.

DISCOVER THE BEAUTY OF RARE AND
UNUSUAL CACTI & SUCCULENTS
AT SHERWAY GARDENS – JUNE 26 & 27

Did you know that all cacti and succulents flower? Visit Sherway Gardens for the annual Ontario Cactus & Succulent Society (OCSS) Show on Saturday, June 26 (9:30am – 6pm) and Sunday, June 27 (11am – 6pm) in Sherway Square for a spectacular array of colourful blooms. Get valuable growing tips from the experts and learn how to make cacti and succulents part of your garden this year.

The Ontario Cactus and Succulent Show at Sherway Gardens is one of the biggest shows of its kind in Canada. Hundreds of rare, unusual and expertly grown plants will be on display at this judged exhibit. There will be a large variety of plants on display at Sherway Gardens and experts will be on hand to share their cultivation secrets!

ADD A NEW DIMENSION TO YOUR GARDEN WITH CACTI AND SUCCULENTS:
Exploring the hidden treasures of cacti and succulents can turn a barren landscape into an unusual garden, a dull window into a showcase of foliage and flowers, or a boring container garden into a vibrant focal point with added colour and pizzaz.

Cactus Gardens: A cactus garden can liven up a yard and give a home an original look. The best place to plant a cactus garden is on a hill, as it allows the garden to drain easily. If your property is flat, you can create a cactus garden, it will just involve more digging. Decide the size and shape of the garden and mark the border on the ground before beginning to make digging easier.

When choosing cacti for the garden, be sure to choose plants that will thrive in the various outdoor conditions. Plant the cacti, pot and all, into the ground to ensure easy removal for transporting the plants inside during the winter.

Wall Water Fountains: Cacti and succulents can be used as striking foliage to accompany a wall water fountain or awning.

Miniature Indoor Desert Scenes: For small apartments or homes with limited space; creating a miniature desert scene indoors is easy with decorative dish gardens of cacti and succulents. These miniature landscapes offer great interest, only take a few hours to make and once established, grows almost unattended.

Cacti and succulents are ideal for dish gardens as they are small and grow slowly.
