Exacting style. Decorating Flair.
39th Annual Summer Antiques Show
Sherway Gardens - August 2-8, 2010

Whether on the hunt for retro Laurel table lamps, vintage Manhattan glassware or antique Sevres vases, antiquing at the 39th annual Summer Antiques Show at Sherway Gardens (Hwy 427 and the QEW) is about the fun of the search and the thrill of the find.

From high style to shabby chic, shoppers can browse nearly 1.2 kilometres of perfect accent pieces ranging from cozy country quilts to rare Italian artwork. Toronto’s largest antiquing event opens at 10am on Civic Holiday Monday August 2nd and runs through Sunday, August 8th (Monday 10am-6pm; Tuesday-Friday 10am-9pm; Saturday 9:30am-6pm; Sunday 11am-6pm). Add free admission and parking and you can see why this has been Toronto’s favourite antiques show for more than three decades.

More than 10,000 antiques and collectibles will be on display throughout Sherway Gardens at the Summer Antiques Sale including folk art from the Maritimes, restored mahogany dining room tables, white-washed cottage furniture, vintage timepieces, armoires from France, ancient coins, pine harvest tables, sideboards, blanket boxes, brass beds, pressed glass and estate jewelry.

The Summer Antiques Sale is a great place for the serious and experienced collector and for the novice to find quality antiques and collectibles. The high calibre vendors set aside select pieces throughout the year specifically for the show at Sherway Gardens.
